Q: Do I need to use the Cow Trainer EVERY time I work the cow?

A: No. If you stimulate the cow a few times during a work, that cow will usually stay good another two or three weeks before you need to use the “Cow Trainer” again. Simply step your horse to the cow, if the cow doesn’t react, push the button.

Q: Do I need a squeeze chute with a head gate?

A: No. It’s easy to make a simple chute out of a few pipe panels. Funnel the cow to the front of the chute and slide a pipe behind her so she can’t back up. After cinching her up with the Cow Trainer, open the front of the chute to let her out. I recommend panels with chain connecters instead of pins.
